Job Description

Force Inspection Services is a leading oilfield asset and tubular management and services company to the upstream oil and gas industry.  Its core business revolves around drill pipe, drill tools, sucker rods, casing and production tubing, coating services, and tubular products for production and completion. Force’s services include in-plant and mobile inspection, repair, machining, and manufacturing.

Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager, OCTG Prod/Serv, the Sales Representative is responsible for managing and growing their assigned accounts. This role ensures customers receive consistent product quality and superior service delivery with every customer interaction, in accordance with Force’s service expectations. The Sales Representative will also foster and maintain lasting relationships with new and existing customers to advance the company’s overall gross profit margin and sales revenue.

Duties & Responsibilities

The direct accountability for this role includes developing an encompassing sales plan, monitoring sales

performance in accordance with established goals, cultivating and representing corporate brand objectives, providing market intelligence, price list setting and fostering relationships with key customers.

Sales & Marketing

· Maintains and upholds customer/quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards while reviewing areas for improvement or resolve.

· Provide exceptional service to existing accounts, obtain new orders, and establish new accounts.

· Develop and tailor sales presentations and activities using target market research on existing and potential clients – comfortable leading in boardroom and presentation settings.

· Support the sales and marketing leadership team by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new developments, delivery schedules, services, etc.

· Provides recommendations to the sales and marketing leadership team on changes in products, services, pricing and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments to improve the customer experience.

· Resolve customer complaints with the operations team and make recommendations to

management.

· Ensures high level of relationship management with key customers and act as liaison or point of contact to major customer issues or concerns.

· Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

· Utilizes proper records management to house historical records, while maintaining current records on assigned territory and customer sales.

· CRM Management to ensure key market information and customer interactions are recorded and communicated to required stakeholders.

· Complies with Force Inspection’s Health & Safety program and Occupational Health & Safety Regulations.

· Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

· Completion of High School or GED preferred. Post-secondary education in Business, Sales or

· Marketing is an asset.

· Previous sales experience in oil and gas or related industry (Drilling/completion operations).

· Travel will be required locally and nationally (95% Calgary – 5% field). The company will provide the support needed to get to site locations.

· Strong communication with ability to inspire and drive results through people.

· Experience and confident with cold calling.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities and multiple stakeholders.

· Superior detail orientation; values accuracy and has high standards around quality of work.

Special Conditions of Employment

· Must possess and maintain valid Class 5 drivers’ license.

· Clean drivers abstract.
