Inside the Role
The Daimler Coaches North America Sales Operations and Administration Analyst will support the sales operations department as directed, preparing maintaining, monitoring & tracking accurate documentation concerning sales offers, inventories, orders and demo vehicle use in the relevant systems and offer support with timely follow up for other sales related tasks.

Position offers a starting salary range of $61,500 - $79,000 USD
Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience

What You Drive at DTNA
  • Support internal sales operations with management of various duties to ensure all new vehicle specifications are accurately documented & processed. Liaise with relevant Sales Managers as directed to ensure vehicle specifications are in order to meet customer requirements.
  • As directed, accurately track and monitor vehicle orders, build schedules and inventories.
  • Assist & support preparation of sales offers, maintain an accurate accountability of all sales quotes in the relevant documentation systems including CAS checks and compliance documentation activities.
  • Assist in tracking and monitoring production orders placed with the plant. Coordinate queries and provide updates to the sales & mgmt. team.
  • Support the management / tracking of demo vehicle use, unit moves, documentation and compliance to requirements.
  • Ensure timely execution of all necessary approvals for the sales orders in the systems (mainly SAP), prepare offers (quotes & purchase agreements) and ensure a timely confirmation / signature by the customer. Maintain required files/documentation and accountabilities.
  • Become familiar with CRM system (NOVIS) to support the DCNA team in NOVIS (sales and aftermarket).
  • Support preparation of regular reporting for production orders, quotes and sales orders activity.
  • Coordinate with marketing / support as needed for development of brochures, sell sheets/FAB etc
  • Some travel to the Jacksonville FL location required: about once a quarter
Knowledge You Should Bring
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
  • 2 years of proven experience in sales / customer service support role in a business-to-business environment such as commercial vehicles or capital equipment. Start-up experience a plus.
  • Fine attention to detail & accountability is necessary as well as being a people person with excellent customer service knowledge.
  • Computer literacy across multiple platforms including familiarity w/ CRM software (MSOffice/SAP/Novis etc)
  • Time management and organization: master a variety of organization methods, to handle multiple projects at one time and completing tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • High level of personal and professional integrity, honesty and accountability.
Exceptional Candidates Might Have
  • 2 years of relevant experience in automotive / commercial vehicle industry sales / customer service role
  • Act as a consultant to define most suitable configuration options / capabilities and subsequent processes.
  • German language skills a plus.
