Waveguide Design Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced business development manager will focus on managing key customers, including but not limited to communicating, forecasting, and developing partnerships with key accounts. The candidate will be accountable for growing business and being able to collaborate with corporate top management for adding value to businesses development strategies.

Responsibilities:
The candidate will be responsible for:
1. Evaluate technical specifications in accordance with customer requirements.
2. Design diffraction waveguides for AR head-mounted display devices, including modeling, simulation, optimization, and validation.
3. Gather industrial information and analyze the latest technological solutions.
4. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to explore cutting-edge optical display
technology and develop optical waveguide solutions.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
1. Master's degree or higher in optics, physics, electronics, semiconductors, or related
fields.
2. Over 3 years of experience in diffraction optics design and geometric optics design
(experience with AR Waveguide is mandatory), proficient in at least one of the following
design software: CodeV, Zemax, VirtualLab, LightTools, COMSOL, FDTD.
3. Solid theoretical background in geometric optics (such as lens design theory, aberration
theory, etc.), or proficient theoretical background in diffraction optics (such as
electromagnetic field theory, waveguide optics theory, etc.).
4. Strong coding, simulation, and optimization skills with MATLAB or Python; significant
experience in coding programs to optimize diffractive optics is mandatory.
5. Proficient in English with excellent listening, speaking, reading, and wring skills.
Knowledge of Chinese is advantageous.

Pay: $150,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
