The Manager, Application and Software Development - Sales is responsible for the strategic direction of all Sales Enablement Tools and the Salesforce platform in partnership with the business owner and other technology leaders. This role leads all day to day activities to support, maintain, enhance, and evolve the platform and tools including release planning, configuration implementation, development, integration, change management, impediment management and removal, and all aspects of execution.

What you'll be doing:
Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to those listed below:
Develop strategic partnerships with key business owners and other technology leaders to fully leverage the platform and integrations to drive business outcomes
Drive the strategic roadmap for the platform building consensus for major investments, approach changes, and future capabilities
Lead a team of analysts and developers (including employee(s), vendor relationships, and contractors) to keep the day to day system running efficiently while executing regular enhancements, changes, and upgrades to the platform and integrations.
Work closely with multiple groups within the organization to examine existing business models and flows of data, document and present findings and design an appropriate improved IT solution; acting as the liaison between the business and the developers
Provide technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new IT capabilities and initiatives to support, enhance, and improve efficiency of business processes
Lead the solution and integration design strategy for the application and surrounding ecosystem of integrations and Salesforce packages
Act as the key interface with the user community to consult on, prioritize, and facilitate all work associated with the application and supporting packages and integrations including advice to business users in the effective use of applications and technology
Lead the Investigation and resolution of application functionality related issues and provide assistance with troubleshooting
Act as a liaison to Salesforce and related tools’ vendors for extended problem resolution, license maintenance, and support agreements
Prioritize efforts and delegates activities appropriately as well as use analytical experience to consult end users with the overall objective of improving the use of application systems functionality
Create high level communications and lead meetings with a variety of stakeholders to gather input and build consensus on both tactical and strategic direction

Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification or related experience within multiple tiers of an IT organization
Experience/Skills Needed:
5 years experience as a Salesforce administrator required
3-5 years previous management experience required
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate in terms of business outcomes and value being delivered
Previous architecture expertise with Salesforce desired
Experience managing and configuring CRM systems with attention to detail and a keen sense for how to ensure data integrity and optimal system function
Experience creating dashboards and C-level reports/dashboards to communicate insights, progress toward goals, and team performance
Must be comfortable in rapidly changing and sometimes ambiguous work situations. Keen attention to detail and complex problem solving abilities from an operational and technical perspective.
Comfortable leading via feedback, coaching and mentoring of direct reports, management to contractual agreements with vendors and outsourcing partners, and leading via influence across diverse stakeholder groups
Must have strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to help negotiate priorities, and to resolve conflicts among project stakeholders (such as various business stakeholder groups, other IT teams, and vendors)
Strong understanding of business process and data modeling as well as workflow design
Experience with enterprise integration tools
Cable/telecommunication experience strongly preferred
Computer Skills:
Fundamental knowledge of standard desktop business applications and tools
