This is a flexible in office role in our Victoria office.
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada. This role is not eligible for sponsorship, and we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa or work permit.
The salary range for this position is $71,350- $92,00 The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity.

Each day is unique in this role. The daily work may look like any combination of the following tasks:
Lead and oversee the 120-day Renewal Process, including preparing the renewal report, presenting to client for approval, acquiring the binding order, reviewing policy documentation and delivering to client in a timely manner;
Lead by example and assist colleagues in delivering (Delivering Aon United) DAU to clients and prospects;
Delivering continuous excellence in servicing an existing book;
Collaborate with colleagues in Victoria and throughout Canada;
Identifying specific client and prospect needs and developing innovative and cost effective solutions;
Ensure all procedures, internal client documents and correspondence are in compliance with Aon audit standards;
Coordinating / providing oversight to the account team and establish client service plans that prioritize the account activities and profitability in a value-based approach for the scope of services required;
Coordinating / leading the strategy for the account and the ongoing requirements during the year, leading negotiations with underwriters;
Cross-selling and expanding the existing insurance programs with our clients; developing and leading client relationships in order to increase penetration sales and cultivate new business opportunities;
Producing new business and assisting in the development of sales and marketing strategy designed to cultivate revenue generation opportunities;
Developing new contacts and establish relationships with prospects that align with the Region’s/Branch’s acknowledged targeted industry or segment groups;
Acting as the visible face of Aon to the clients/prospects in the community, working to consistently prospect and facilitating lead generation activities; and
Participating in industry sponsored events and maximize opportunities to become involved with various industry committees;

Our ideal candidate has minimum 2 years commercial risk experience. They will have excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a broad range of audiences
Post-secondary education, or relevant experience.
Eligibility for a General Insurance License, Level II licence preferred
Committed to continuous learning and professional development, including certifications such as CIP, CAIB, or CRM.
Meticulous attention to detail, refined organizational skills and the ability to multi-tasting.
Able to lead a team of brokers, claims advocate and risk control consultant for the client.
Consistent track record of prioritizing tasks under ambitious timelines;
Must have strong digital literacy and be proficient with the Microsoft Office Package; How we support our colleagues
