Wild River Door is currently seeking a Inside Sales Representative to add to their team. This position is located in Lakewood, Washington.


The Inside Sales Representative will function as a key contributor of the department team, focused on safely and effectively meeting the needs of our customers both internal and external. Pay will be DOE. Workdays will be Monday through Friday. This position will provide product line expertise and day to day order file management for all door products, with inside sales support for all door products in assigned region. This position is also responsible for administering the order processing system through the sales department. Door/Millwork experience is preferred.

Essential functions and responsibilities:

1. Working with the sales team in developing customer relationships / building customer confidence

2. Provide expertise on all Door Products, production capabilities, and product pricing

3. Manage customer orders from receipt to order entry while reviewing production schedules to

assure on-time delivery.

4. Maintain customer file with specifications and discounts

5. Manage data systems and manual paperwork flow to assure the accuracy, timeliness, and

completeness of data moving through the order process system

6. Monitor routine claims and disputed balance inquiries and make recommendations for resolution.

7. Solicit orders by initiating telephone contact with current customers as well as potential

customers and contribute to sales success.

8. Creatively explore ways to stimulate sales and recommend adjustments to overall pricing and

service strategy.

9. Work with Office Manager in preparing reports, forecasts, customer correspondence, and plan

documents

10. Assist teammates in any other areas as deemed necessary by management.

The following qualifications are required:

1. Associate degree with Business focus or equivalent work experience

2. 3 yrs. experience in building material direct sales or sales support position

3. Knowledge of millwork manufacturing process/capabilities

4. Functional PC skills

5. Excellent Communicator and Customer Service Skills

6. Team Player

7. Work well with people in all phases of the business

8. Excellent multi-tasking skills & Organizational skills

9. Self- Motivated

10. Ability to work under stress in fast paced working environment

11. Detail Oriented

12. Above average Math Skills

13. Prior experience in the millwork industry

14. Basic phone skills

15. Creative solution skills

16. Phone prospecting skills
