Account Executive

Located in Greater Hartford, we have grown into one of the nation's largest flooring services and installation company. Due to our unprecedented growth, we are looking for an Account Executive to join our team. The Account Executive will be responsible for growing and maintaining current and potential customer relationships in their territory while promoting our commercial floor care products. The ideal candidate will have experience in the floor care and floor maintenance, as well as sales and customer service experience.

  • Position Overview: Our Floor Care Account Executive will focus on a designated geographic area to build relationships with current and potential customers in order to grow our customer base and increase sales in that area. The Account Executive will be an expert in the floor care industry, knowledgeable about our products and services, and dedicated to providing excellent customer service.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Identify and develop relationships with current and potential customers.
    • Provide excellent customer service and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
    • Understand the floor care industry and commercial flooring industry and stay up to date on trends and changes.
    • Research and analyze data to identify customer needs and develop sales strategies.
    • Track and monitor sales progress and report results to management.
    • Attend industry events and conferences.
  • Qualifications:
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in territory sales.
    • Experience in the floor care and/or floor maintenance industries.
    • Experience in commercial flooring.
    • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills.
    • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
