We are seeking a dedicated Medical Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling medical products to healthcare professionals, including medical offices, hospitals, and assisted livings. This role requires excellent communication skills and a strong sales acumen.
Responsibilities:
· Establishes a sales plan that encompasses all referral sources for the entire service area of the organization.
· Conducts, participates in and attends educational meetings, seminars, and health fairs (or similar community activities) for referral sources, healthcare workers and the community at large.
· Maintains records of sales calls and follow-up made. Reports sales activities monthly to management.
· Hunter mentality, self-directed, able to work independently and collaboratively to handle multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced high growth environment.
· Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals to promote medical products.
· Manage and grow existing accounts through regular visits and product demonstrations.
· Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
· Conduct sales presentations and negotiate contracts with clients.
· Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in the medical field.
Qualifications:
· Proven experience in sales, preferably in pharmaceutical or medical sales.
· Strong understanding of outside sales techniques and strategies.
· Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare industry practices.
· Excellent negotiation skills to close deals effectively.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
· Must display interpersonal skills and ability to interact with customers, employees and others in a professional and tactful manner.
