Johnson Controls is seeking a Director of Commercial Data & Analytics. You will be responsible for designing and executing the global commercial data strategy, data visualization, and reporting. This role directly supports the VP of Global Commercial Operations while leading a team that supports each of the regional VPs of Commercial Sales. We prefer to have this person be based in the Milwaukee, WI, area so they can go into the Glendale, WI, office a few days a week. We can consider remote for the right candidate.
How you will do it
Oversee commercial visual reporting tools and team that emphasize effective design and usability with optimized delivery and performance.
Manage a team that creates reporting to drive commercial revenue growth and improvements across the business.
Proficiency in understanding and presenting data to leadership that effectively communicates key insights and takeaways leading to actions that drive desired business outcomes.
Point person for senior leaders on performance measures, diagnostics and insights and be a key member on our strategic deployment initiatives.
Ensures that the delivered insights meet the business needs of the region.
Stay involved in all aspects of the program lifecycle from requirement gathering, ideation, data wrangling, hypothesis generation, programming, testing, and implementation of new processes and tools.
Partners with and provide recommendations to business leadership on the appropriate application of analytics to business strategies and effectively communicate analysis and implications to senior leadership.

What we look for
Required
Bachelor’s degree in business, Statistics, Finance, Computer Science, or related degree. MBA desirable.
7+ years of experience in quantitative related fields (finance, data science, statistics, analytics, reporting) including Power BI, SQL (Snowflake) and Jira.
Minimum 3+ years leadership position in Commercial Sales Management, Sales Operations, Data & Analytics, or Finance.
Excellent critical-thinking skills with the ability to research and analyze data retrieved from multiple sources.
Must possess and demonstrate excellent leadership, managerial, and communication skills.
