Job Description
The Sales Support Administrator will be responsible for providing administrative sales support for the Wholesale Sales Channel including reviewing sales data, preparing reports, representing Gatorz at events, communicating with dealers, and supporting the sales team with various tasks. Create Synergies between departments and be a point person for problem solving. Report and work closely with Director of sales and warehouse manager to fulfill orders at a high level to maximize growth trajectory.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree desired. Experience will be considered in lieu of education.
3+ years Sales support administrative experience will be considered in lieu of education.
Knowledge
Customer and Personal Service
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Clerical
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology. Must be familiar with Microsoft office, QuickBooks and CRM software.
Internet
Knowledge of commercial transactions conducted electronically on the internet through SPS Commerce, Gatorz Portal and other retail partners sites. Able to learn Gatorz operating systems and relevant hard- or software.
Tasks
- Maintaining sales and marketing forecasting, goals and actual results.
- Sales support for all US wholesale dealers. Duties include order entry, answering questions, promoting new products.
- Sales Support for sales agencies and representatives.
- Backend support and uploading product data and images.
- Assist in building sales tools for channel: Order Forms, Catalogs, Sales Promotions.
- Qualify and nurture sales opportunities, close deals and generate revenue
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and sales partners, respond to daily needs and inquiries, perform quarterly planning of sales activities
- Convert new account paperwork, work with finance to onboard.
- Constantly prioritize accounts based on new findings, keep track of KPIs, organize sales pipeline and manage sales activities using CRM software.
- Proactively communicate industry requirements for product needs & developments to internal product management team.
- Coordinate and attend tradeshows to develop sales opportunities, nurture leads & customers, network, and spread awareness of products and marketing initiatives.
- Work closely with sales representative agency groups on onboarding, compiling documents and materials for client meetings, being the main point of contact for all customer correspondence
- Assist with content creation for sales promotion eblasts.
- Be the market expert: gather dealer feedback, monitor competitor activity, marketing opportunities, and provide recommendations for improvement to management.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by Sales Director.
