Job Description
Axis Communications is looking for a Sales Development Representative to help support our marketing and sales teams. You will engage with prospects to convey the value of Axis solutions and move them forward in the sales process. As the first point of contact, you will play a key role in creating a great first impression and nurturing inbound leads. Additionally, you will drive registration and attendance to Axis Academy, our industry-leading training program.
This is an in-office position (with some flexibility) and the selected individual will be based out of our Americas HQ in Chelmsford, MA.
What you’ll do here as Sales Development Representative?
  • Educate and develop inbound leads to identify and create sales opportunities
  • Follow up on leads via phone and email, tracking productivity daily in Salesforce
  • Identify high-potential prospects and transition when appropriate to the sales team
  • Proactively prospect using sales-provided lists, zoom info, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Execute outbound calls and emails for marketing campaigns
  • Drive registration for Academy training classes through phone, email, social outreach, etc.
  • Educate partners and end customers on Axis solutions
  • Achieve or exceed individual activity metrics
Who are we looking for/Who are you?
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a competitive personality and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent phone and interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Team player who possesses a desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
  • Flexible and open to change
  • Customer centric personality with a drive to deliver
  • Aptitude to quickly learn new technologies, products, and processes
We'd love to hear that you have/are:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related area
  • 0-2+ years in a sales or marketing position
  • Experience with Salesforce, Pardot, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator preferred, but not required
  • Bilingual - English and French - Preferred but not require
Physical Demands and Travel:

  • Travel up to 10% annually
  • Employee is occasionally required to lift 20-25 lbs.
