DT Equipment Repair Inc. is your premier Mobile Heavy Equipment Maintenance and Repair provider. We operate primarily in Western Canada & the Territories. Specializing in embedded contracts in Oil/Gas, Mining, Logging and Heavy Civil Construction.
Position Overview:
DT Equipment Repair is looking for qualified, dynamic, and proactive Business Development Manager to join our team. Reporting directly to the CEO & President, the ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving strategic business growth through client relationship management, identifying new opportunities, and implementing innovative business development strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the CEO & President and Operations Manager to develop and execute strategic business development plans aimed at nurturing client relationships and identifying new business prospects.
- Develop innovative strategies to effectively tap into new business opportunities.
- Cultivate strong relationships with prospective clients, assess their requirements, and formulate tailored proposals to address their needs.
- Foster and maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure continued satisfaction and loyalty.
- Present and pitch our services and products to both new and existing clients.
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of our products, stay abreast of industry competition, and strategically position our offerings in the market.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- The minimum requirements for this position include a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field combined with industry experience, or alternatively, a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in business development within this industry.
- Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities, coupled with the knack for building strong client relationships.
- Strategic thinker with the capacity to devise and execute innovative business development strategies.
- Proficient in utilizing lead tracking tools and other relevant business development software.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and identify growth opportunities.
- Strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Additional:
- This is a base salary plus commission position
- Some travel is required to project sites
