Parts Sales Specialist

Factory Direct Supply (fdsupply.com)/Palmetto Parts Company is a multi-line plumbing specialty distributor. We maintain an inventory of over 20,000 plumbing and maintenance repair products in our Myrtle Beach and Mount Pleasant locations. Our customers include plumbing contractors, government and educational facilities, medical and hospitality accounts, and many others.

We are looking for a skilled service plumber who wants to move from the field to a Monday through Friday inside customer service position helping our customers find the items they need to repair their fixtures.

Job Description:

· Promotes and sells products to meet customer needs

· Answer phone calls and emails from customers requesting information

· Pick orders generated by the website, email, or phone

· Maintain a clean and efficient workspace

· Assist in maintaining a clean storefront and warehouse

· Assist other departments when needed

Requirements:

· Plumbing service or facilities maintenance experience

· Experience with sourcing repair parts via catalogs, manufacturers’ websites, or search engines

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Excellent customer relationship skills

· Ability to write and speak effectively

· Computer skills, including the ability to use Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn new applications

Compensation: Commensurate to experience. We offer health insurance on an employee contributory basis, and after meeting eligibility, life insurance and a retirement plan with employer match of up to 3%.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.65 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
