Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- This individual will develop new clients/business in the Midwest & Southwest Minnesota, South Dakota, North Dakota, Arizona, and California, by networking, cold calling, advertising or other means of generating interest from potential clients
- Ideal candidates will plan persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients to do business with PCB-PARAGON COMMERCIAL BUILDERS
- Research and build relationships with new clients.
- Set up meetings with client decision makers
- Proactively manage and grow your assigned client base by developing a deep understanding of customer needs by assessing and making proper technical recommendations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop sales quotes and promote company initiatives. Review and confirm quote requests from channel partners.
- increase company revenue through sales and lead generation
- Create and update client lead database using Pipedrive
- Provide a high-touch, personalized approach through the entire quote process, delivering exceptional customer service.
- Coordinate business development and marketing meetings and events
- Follow the latest industry developments and stay up to date on corporate competitors.
- Willing to travel to customer sites and trade shows as needed.
- Collaborate with the project management team to ensure successful project delivery
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience in multi-family home properties a MUST
- 5 years of construction industry background
- Proven experience in business development within the construction industry.
- Demonstrated skill and experience at managing key accounts, building a trusted relationship and developing multi-level contacts within our customer’s network.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver and grow businesses
- Demonstrated leadership & client management skills
- History of developing and closing sales opportunities, especially within OEMs.
- Strong negotiation, listening, and presentation skills (both verbal and written) with a talent for building lasting customer relationships and making presentations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent grammar and writing skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Organized and detail-oriented.
- Quick learner of new software systems.
- Ability to complete projects with minimal supervision.
- Deadline conscious and detail-oriented
- Self-motivated, independent, enthusiastic and detail orientated, while contributing to a team-oriented environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
Physical Demands and Work Environment: This role requires office mobility and may involve handling shipments up to 25 pounds. It predominantly involves sitting and working at a computer for extended periods. This positions office hours are 08:00AM-05:00PM Monday-Friday
This job will require travel
Commission salary to START, then wages+commission after 90 days DOE
