Description

SAIC is looking for a Battle Captain/Business Analyst to oversee the infrastructure to deliver at the enterprise level within the USACE OCIO/G-6 environment IAW DoD, Army, and USACE OCIO G6 policies and procedures. This position will have dual roles serving as both a Battle Captain and Business Data Analyst.

As a Battle Captain, will need to liaison with necessary technologies to keep the infrastructure stable. For the secondary as a Business Analyst, Develops, inspects, mines, transforms, and models data to raise productivity, improve decision-making, and gain competitive advantage. Conducts statistical analysis on data and information to ensure correct predictive forecasting or classification. Manages all aspects of end-to-end data processing. Maintains analytical systems, verifies the accuracy of the data and acts as liaison with systems providing trending analysis while supporting outages when necessary. Perform other duties as assigned given by the Director of Operations and/or other Senior Leader(s).

Job Duties:

  • Will serve within a team of other Battle Captains and serve as primary POC for government and contract for all infrastructure related issues.
  • Provide coordination, guidance and leadership on outage calls, communication and collaboration across multiple technologies and their teams.
  • Prepare and complete actions plans, implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards, while resolving issues and conducting audits.
  • Have the ability to brief senior leadership (C-Suite Executives and Senior DA Civilians/Military Staff) on the health and welfare of the infrastructure.
  • Will serve as the primary POC for Business Analysis/Data Analysis for Enterprise Operations for trends and process improvements.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors and five years of experience; four (4) years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Must have data analysis experience
  • SQL, Python, Scripting capabilities
  • Power BI capable/Intermediate to SME
  • Understanding of broader technologies (Network Mapping, Servers, Routers, Switch, Active Directory)

Required Certification:

  • Must be willing to obtain ITIL Foundations within 6 months of start.

Required Security Clearance:

  • Secret clearance is required on first day of employment.

Target salary range: $75,001 - $100,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
