Director of Marketing, Walmart Connect Canada

We are looking for a Marketing Director at Walmart Connect Canada to be accountable for uniquely positioning and growing the Walmart Connect brand among all audiences. This role will also enable sales and the entire Walmart Connect team with best-in-class training, marketing collateral and data driven insights. This role will also manage all external and internal communications and events.

Lead Brand Strategy and Marketing by driving awareness, comprehension & demand of WMC products. Establish WMC as thought leaders in the retail media & advertising space. This includes Annual Client Appreciation Events, Industry Event Sponsorships, white papers, case studies, B2B advertising and communication plan, both internally and externally.

Support Sales team by delivering omni solutions to drive revenue, innovation, differentiation, and client satisfaction. This includes Quarterly Insights, Category Insights, Seasonal Insights, Case Studies, Client Specific Insights requests and joint business planning support.

Lead training and sales enablement , including onboarding Walmart Connect associates, train on product releases, and upskill associates as well as WMC training certification programs. This also includes ongoing sales collateral and new product launches.

Consult and align on WMC product roadmap through joint assessment of the media landscape and opportunity validation. Build & align to the plan in partnership with WMC leadership team and manage any 3rd party partners who support our strategy and execution.

Provide direction, leadership and role model cultural behavior and help build cross-functional high performing matrix teams. Be a strong advocate who cultivates relationships with US and International counterparts to share best practices & insights .

Qualifications

BA/MBA preferred in related field or equivalent practical experience
Deep understanding of and experience in digital advertising
10+ years experience in online advertising or brand marketing including partnering with industry associations
Sound business judgment as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, and manage ambiguity
Must be able and willing to think and act strategically and tactically.
Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial, proven ability to influence others internally and externally ‎
