Territory Manager (Ontario)

Working from a home office you will drive sales through authorized Honeywell WEBs contractors and distributors for the province of Ontario. You will foster client satisfaction by maintaining regular customer contact and managing customer expectations. You will develop customer relationships through attending trade shows, seminars, and similar events. You will build demand for the Honeywell WEBs control product through technical presentations, seminars and workshops delivered to contractors, engineering consultants and owners. You will maintain and provide reports and opportunity status using our customer relationship management system. You will provide competitive intelligence and market trends. You will provide forecast/demand input to Sales Inventory Operations Planning (SIOP).

Located in Toronto working remotely.

  • Drive business growth by discovering new opportunities, clients, and customers
  • Deliver value by leveraging existing relationships and forging new strategic relationships
  • Grow your knowledge of Honeywell products in a team-based culture focused on innovation and customer satisfaction

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Mechanical Engineering/Technical degree
  • 5+ years of sales experience in a technical sales role in HVAC Building Automation
  • Computer Literate – MS Office Suite
  • Valid driver’s license

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor’s degree (Mechanical Engineering preferred)
  • A broad knowledge of sales principles and best practices
  • Experience with Sales Force application
  • Prior experience selling to Mechanical Contractors and Consulting Engineers
  • Prior experience selling to owners and end users
  • Excellent team interaction and communication and presentation skills
  • Drive for increased knowledge and a willingness to learn
  • An ability to take initiative and work with limited direction
  • An ability to influence customers, while maintaining healthy relationships
  • Significant experience in selling commercial controls products and HVAC applications
  • Understanding of the Honeywell value proposition as well as the competitive landscape
