The AppleCare Sales Leader will manage a team of business development specialists who cover our top accounts and channel partners - driving results and working cross-functionally to champion product enhancements, marketing and enablement needs, as well as new sales strategies to fuel new growth opportunities in business and education markets. Reporting to the Director, WW Business Development, this role will require a blend of domestic and international travel (40%+).
Description
The AppleCare Sales Leader will be responsible for developing both the Americas and JAPAC regional businesses. Key tasks include: Sales Leadership: Build and lead experienced sales teams across multiple countries through organizing, developing, motivating, and enabling them with the right tools and with real-time feedback. Inspire your team’s collaboration and develop a diverse and inclusive environment. Sales Targets: Own the overall Americas & JAPAC sales results for both enterprise and education markets. Develop and executes tactical activities with the team-members to achieve regional/country/segment targets. Strategic Approach: Develop and execute strategic Country and Account Plans in coordination with hardware sales teams and defines go-to-market programs as needed to fuel growth. Regular reporting about the key achievements in Business Reviews, as well as developing and sharing lighthouses. Sales Programs & Channel Management: implement sales incentives and programs designed to drive the engagement of hardware resellers. Explore new potential routes-to-market and channels to ensure those companies providing managed services to our customers are leading with AppleCare services. Sales Approach: drive internal sales readiness through training and workshops. Manage pipeline via CRM and explores new opportunities areas leveraging data and analytics. Internal Relationships/Collaboration: build and maintain deep relationships internally to achieve results across sales, product marketing, operations and finance. Key performance indicators: - Channel partner results spanning both Enterprise and Education markets - Achievement of quarterly and annual sales targets - Quality and accuracy of sales forecasting and pipeline management - Quality of Business reviews at a country, region, segment level

- 10+ years of complex business development, sales leadership, sales strategy and sales execution experience.
- 5+ years of selling or overseeing managed services or lifecycle management solutions in the commercial hardware, software or cloud services space.
- Experience operating in a multi-channel environment, developing programs which drive attach at scale and building mindshare amongst channel sellers.
- Deep understanding of the various needs and nuances associated with selling services into enterprise versus education markets and associated sales channels.
- Successful track record driving sales results and growth initiatives.
- Strong negotiation and storytelling skills with experience navigating complex sales situations.
- Have solid executive presence and demonstrate confidence in engaging executives both within our target customer base and our channel.
- A self-starter with an analytical orientation, strategic vision, and strong executional track record.
- A strong command of business and financial modeling is critical to success in this role.
- Excellent presentation, written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with strong networking ability.
- Proven effective relationship builder within a matrix environment at a country, market segment, route-to-market and WW level.
- Possess the energy, passion, creativity, tenacity and required focus to build a billion dollar business.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of service and support best practices, direct experience with managed services or device lifecycle management solutions.
- Understanding of the enterprise/education hardware channel and various market dynamics.
- Channel development experience.
- MBA.
Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $222,600 and $334,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
