Job Description

SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:
Under the general direction of the Vice President Technical Services, the Director Technical Resource Services is responsible for securing qualified resources, customer account management, and project management to achieve customer requirements for the Technical Services business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintains complete ownership of assigned accounts and programs to ensure Sagent’s service performance meets and exceeds customer KPI’s, SLAs, and expectations
  • Identify, recruit, and deploy qualified candidates for active projects
  • Coordinate resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope and schedule
  • Establish and maintain relationships with customers, providing contact on project status and changes as needed
  • Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan
  • Manage expenses and ensure reports are submitted promptly to customers for approval.
  • Travels to customer sites, if necessary

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Marketing, or Communications preferred
  • 10+ years of previous Resource placement required
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills with emphasis on Excel
  • Must be self-motivated and self-disciplined and provide follow-up to all customer inquiries
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain an effective organizational system
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals or operating instructions
  • Ability to multi-task in a demanding environment
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, effectively balancing multiple concurrent assignments
