A Sales Engineer will be responsible for managing all communications between the company and the customer from new order to end of life of the part(s.)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Account Management – Manage the assigned accounts Provide Day-to-Day account management of assigned accounts
- Demonstrate Strategic and Tactical revenue growth opportunities within assigned accounts
- Establish, maintain and grow solid relationships with corporate buyers
- Keep invested parties informed of projects and status
- Provide and assist in implementation of deadlines and deliverables
- Sales Engineer will manage sales quotes and documentation as required
- Assist VP of sales with appropriate sales forecasts/projections as needed
- Sales Engineer will an active participant within all areas of organization as required
- Maintain customer profiles and contact database
- Manage and oversee all pricing to the customer and update as required
- Accountable and active participant in integration and cross-functional departmentalization within Nelson Numeric
Work Experience/Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree and/or related Sales Engineering Experience in a CNC Machining facility, Aerospace is a plus
- Sales Engineer should have minimum 5+ year’s diverse sales experience within the manufacturing sector
- Machining or Foundry background is a PLUS!
- Well-developed communication and diplomacy skills are required to work effectively with other departments and with multiple levels of management.
- Ability to organize and prioritize duties with impeccable attention to detail
- Must be customer driven with strong customer service skills
- Position requires travel from time to time to customer or other locations within the USA
- Must be able to multi task, be assertive but professional, comfortable under pressure, able to meet deadlines, communicate with all levels of an organization, accurate and detailed orientated.
- Must understand and demonstrate the knowledge associated with the technical aspects of our products and their operation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
