Overview
Potter’s Craft Cider is currently seeking an enthusiastic and outgoing individual to join our team as a part-time Brand Ambassador covering the Triangle region.
Job Description
Brand Ambassadors host special events featuring our range of dry ciders from Charlottesville, Virginia - most frequently product tastings at off-premise retail locations and tap takeovers at on-premise accounts - and report directly to our Triangle-based sales manager. This role offers flexible scheduling and great industry exposure, helping introduce unique and exciting products to new customers.
Wages are $20 per hour. Tastings and other events typically last 2-4 hours, and are frequently scheduled for evenings or weekends. In partnership with the local sales manager, the Brand Ambassador should plan to host 10 or more events each month, and be prepared to work 6-12 hours each week. Employees will be provided with all necessary training and equipment, and have access to product discounts.
About Us
Potter's Craft Cider was founded in 2011 in Charlottesville, VA. We use fresh pressed apples, all grown in Virginia, to make a variety of hard ciders. We like to showcase the true character of our local apples and push the boundaries of cidermaking by utilizing non-conventional yeasts and bacteria, hops, tropical fruits, and oak barrels. Our cider is always dry, with no residual or added sugar.
Responsibilities
Learn about and confidently present Potter’s ciders to customers.
Set up, carry out, and clean up after cider tastings and other events independently.
Maintain important relationships with account staff and customers.
Complete reporting following events (documenting customer feedback, account interactions, product sales, etc).
Communicate promptly with local sales manager.
Requirements
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Must be kind and professional.
Must have reliable access to transportation.
Must be able to lift 40lbs (cases or kegs of cider).
Must abide by company policies and procedures, ensuring that all activities are conducted in accordance with local, state, and federal laws.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
