Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic Group Sales Manager with strengths in achieving sales targets, managing key accounts, and developing strategic business relationships. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two (2) years hotel sales experience.
Responsibilities:
- Solicit new and existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue goals through telephone prospecting, outside sales calls, site inspections and written communication.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth
- Maximize revenue by selling all facets of the hotel, both orally and in written form to previous, current and potential clients.
- Manage key client accounts and build long-term relationships
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales campaigns.
- Attend trade shows, community events and industry meetings.
- Knowledge of market trends, competition and key customers of the hotel.
- Execute contracts, maintain records, log materials used and assure bill accuracy.
- Effectively manage the RFP process.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients
- Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
- Perform any other job related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High school or equivalent education required. Bachelor's degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in technical sales, account management, or related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
- Strong computer literacy with knowledge of Word, Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. OPERA and Delphi FDC
- Bilingual a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests, clients, and other team members.
- Maintain professional and friendly demeanor with clients during high pressure events.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
Experience: Minimum (2) two-years of previous hotel sales experience required.
Friendwell Managed Hotels function twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. As a part of the hospitality industry a hospitable service atmosphere must be maintained at all times. All employees are required to project a friendly, welcoming, and positive attitude.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
