JOB SUMMARY
Manage and execute strategic growth plans to achieve SPX FLOW’s Mixing Solutions Aftermarket order/sales volume and profitability for all aftermarket products specifically for the Environmental market. Responsible for identifying and presenting Aftermarket retrofit and/or upgrade opportunities. Critical to this role’s success is being active “in the field”, traveling to Environmental facilities becoming their “mixing solution partner”. This role will bring an Aftermarket sales perspective to every action or program SPXFLOW initiates to make certain we remain the mixing solution leader in the marketplace.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maximize revenues from the sales of the organization’s aftermarket products and/or services through strategic and planned customer facing activities as individual contributors combined with assisting our channel partners.
- Create and maintain customer relationships within the Environmental market. Relate to those sites and drive change to meet their needs.
- Establish and drive specific sales plans to implement new products, services and programs.
- Identify new MMR and MOHR target sites.
- Present reports (i.e MMRs and MOE/MOHRs) at facilities for lead generation and pipeline growth.
- Develop strategy and pricing controls for quotations and service agreements.
- Use our CRM platform to manage the sales process and provide accurate bookings forecasts to management.
- Provide other reports as necessary for driving profitable growth and strong relationships with our customers.
- Provide an Environmental customer perspective as Mixing Solutions implements new programs, products or initiatives.
- Achieve business growth year-over-year.
- Embrace & implement 80/20 strategy for profitable growth with our key customers.
- Assist independent representatives with technical assistance in assessing existing equipment and recommending upgrades, maintenance, repair and other services and products to support customer goals.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Independent, self-starter
- “Road warrior” sales mentality and focus
- Boots-on-the-ground technical experience in the field, such as working with maintenance crews.
- Understanding of the sales process
- Experience handling sales of higher complexity.
- Mixer Aftermarket or closely related experience strongly desired.
- Strong engineering knowledge and advanced knowledge of mixer products and mixing processes to provide technical solutions to customers
- Participate in Aftermarket Trainings and get certified to conduct MMRs and MOE/MOHRs
- Team building within SPXFLOW, the sales channel and customers
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals
- Experience setting and negotiating terms with a high level of authority.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- AS degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years industrial equipment sales experience, preferably in rotating equipment.
- Prior customer facing sale role; AM Sales, Maintenance, Service experience is a plus.
- Understanding of business process and functions outside of sales and marketing, including finance, human resources, information technology, product development and manufacturing.
- Customer support experience.

The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 25 pounds. Use of the appropriate PPE is required.

This job operates in a manufacturing professional office environment. The employee can be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, vibration and loud noise level while on the production floor.
