Role description
We are looking for a Regional Sales Coordinator. This role is an exciting mix between relationship management, problem solving and using your technical skills to assist the Western Sales Team and their financial advisors. If you are someone who strives to help others achieve their goals, then this role is for you! You will be supporting the Western Sales team in planning events, directing advisor inquiries to the right sources, and problem solving to ensure advisors needs are met in a timely manner. This is a 12 Month contract position.
What you will do:
Relationship Management
- Provide advisor triage support/troubleshooting and liaison with various departments (IT, Contracting, Compensation)
- Provide proactive training and support to advisors and their administrative staff on new and changing tools and technology
- Provide reactive training/support to established advisors and their teams on various tools and technology (WealthServ, BSA, commissions, carrier websites, reporting, etc.)
- Build and promote the self-serve model (Financial Horizons Success Program)
- Log and issue CE credits for advisors and follow up with carrier as required
- Assist advisors in locating forms for their new business applications and inforce policy changes
Events Coordination
- Work in collaboration with the Western Sales Team and national events teams to coordinate regional and local events such as Regional Summits and local carrier sponsored events
- Responsible for regional advisor communications including carrier updates and events, regional webinars, etc.
- Responsible for keeping track of the Regional Marketing allowance, and MA Approval and Requisition process for the Western Sales Team.
What you will bring:
- Hold or is working toward a financial services designation, such as CFP, CLU or CHS is an asset
- LLQP and Mutual Funds license is an asset
- 2 years customer service or inside sales experience
- Insurance and investments sales and basic product knowledge/experience
- Strong communication skills – verbal and written
- Strong organization skills in keeping up with deadlines
- Proven experience with Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Salesforce experience (or other CRM) is an asset
- Wealthserv experience (Insurance and Investments) is an asset
The base salary for this position is between $43,800- $72,900 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
