The Role: Sales Manager
As our Sales Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind our revenue goals, overseeing Business Transient (BT) accounts and nurturing key relationships. We need someone who can balance understanding the local market with the strategic skills to identify and secure new leads and partnerships. Your role will be centered around identifying, prospecting, and converting leads into room nights and meeting space bookings, expertly shifting market share from competitors and maintaining our commitment to excellence in every guest experience.
What You’ll Do:
- Engage the Local Market: From building relationships within the business community to understanding the needs of local clients, you’ll leverage your expertise to secure business and elevate our reputation in the Jacksonville area.
- BT Accounts and Beyond: Use your understanding of the Business Transient market to maintain a balance between corporate room sales and meeting space bookings, ensuring that each event and stay reflects our high standards.
- Achieve Revenue Goals: Collaborate with the Director of Sales to develop and implement a sales and marketing plan that capitalizes on Hotel Indigo’s strengths in the marketplace.
- Foster Long-Term Relationships: Support guests and clients by responding to their unique needs, following up on inquiries, and ensuring a seamless experience that makes us their first choice in Jacksonville.
Who You Are:
You’re a people-oriented sales professional with a strong understanding of the Business Transient and meeting space markets. Whether you’re local to Jacksonville or coming from another market, you possess a keen ability to uncover and convert new leads while nurturing key relationships. With a natural drive to succeed, you also bring:
- Market Knowledge: If you’re new to the area, a proven record of prospecting, lead generation, and conversion is key. If you’re local, your connections and understanding of the Jacksonville market will be your greatest asset.

Pay: $58,068.00 - $75,000.00 per year
