The RGU Group is seeking a Full-Time National Account Manager to join our team.

Job Summary:

The National Account Manager will be accountable for achieving RGU’s sales volume and profit objectives through short and long-term sales strategies by leveraging existing warm connections in the gift, souvenir, or related consumer packaged goods (CPG) sales channels that can be leveraged by RGU. The person in this position will lead by example and place the utmost value on dependability, reliability, and professionalism.

Job Responsibilities:

· Leverage existing connections or create new connections to generate new key accounts.

· Build trust and schedule regular meetings with national accounts to proactively make suggestions and obtain information regarding their upcoming needs.

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with key account buyers and the hierarchy they report to through professional and consistent communication.

· Take a lead role in presentations and proposals to demonstrate new and existing products, explain product features, overcome objections, and solicit orders.

· Analyze customer needs and product trends to identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities to increase sales. Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates to manage the buyer’s expectations.

· Conduct service review meetings after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support. Collaborate with other teams and departments to ensure customer satisfaction.

· Learn and utilize the company’s ERP/CRM software (Acumatica) to log sales activities, create sales records, and provide effective customer support.

· Continuous education on industry trends and developments, monitoring and identifying market trends, competitors, and new sales leads by leveraging existing industry connections.

· Travel when required to support the sales team at trade shows, association events, conferences, and similar functions.

Skills:

· Strong and consistent communication and active listening skills are required.

· A solid grasp of sales metrics, performance measures, and technical indicators.

· Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.

· Strong organizational and time management skills; decisive thinking and leadership abilities.

· Negotiation, conflict resolution, and presentation skills.

· Self-motivated and results driven with strong time management skills.

· Proficiency with technology, computers, ERP software, and video conferencing.

· Service orientation – actively looking for ways to help people.

Job Qualifications:

· Required experience and warm connections in the gift, souvenir, or related CPG industry (5 years+).

· Bachelor's Degree or higher in business, marketing, or related curriculum required.

· Trade show or conference experience in selling, setting up, and tearing down.

· Preferred experience in plush toys, wholesale distribution, and/or consumer product sales.

Performance will be measured on:

· New key account lead and sales generations and key account satisfaction.

· Meeting and surpassing sales quotas.

· Communication with management and ownership.

· Contribution to the Mission and Vision Statements including Innovation and Customer Satisfaction.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
