As part of Lockheed Martins’ Supply Chain Transformation (SCT) program, Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) Supply Chain is seeking an experienced candidate to support the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) organization. The person in this SRM position will lead the business strategy & execution plan for Middle Tier Suppliers, Spirit Aerosystems and GKN (composites suppliers).

The successful candidate will lead the cross business area development and deployment of LM’s global strategy and action plan for these suppliers driving both affordability and performance. They will collaborate across business areas to lead cross functional team members to execute the action plan.

• Coordinating with LM Business Areas to develop detail supplier profiles

• Developing & Deploying Supplier Strategy

• Establishing strategic action plans and leading execution to leverage cross BA spend

• Gathering & Analyzing Supplier Data and Performance Metrics to inform strategic decisions

• Negotiating LM Enterprise General Terms Agreements

• Negotiating Long-Term Agreements to support BA's

• Developing ‘Get to Excellence/Return to Green plans' as required

• Developing Supplier engagement plans and communicating plans

• Partnering with BA's

• Measuring & reporting on supplier affordability goals/targets

• Supporting internal & external SCT and SRM business rhythms

Basic Qualifications:

Ability to obtain and maintain secret Clearance
Up to 75% Travel
Previous composites experience
Proven and documented experience managing Aerospace and Defense subcontract efforts
Bachelors degree with 12+ years of experience, or Masters degree with 10+ years of experience, or equivalent experience/combined education

Desired Skills:

Project management, negotiation and cross functional leadership experience, knowledge of composite supply chain, material market and manufacturing.
Proven track record of managing suppliers with a focus on affordability and performance.
Executive presence with an ability to effectively manage and develop relationships at all levels of industry.

Security Clearance Statement:

Ability to Work Remotely:

Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position:

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $161,500 - $304,300. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $140,400 - $269,100 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
