Overview
A critical part of our business is helping our attorney partners get started with a law firm we support. The Engagement Specialist serves as a critical initial point of contact for our co-counsels after they have signed an agreement to work with us. The Engagement Specialist ensures that our attorneys feel knowledgeable, educated, and energized in getting started witha law firm we support.
You will guide and mentor newly onboarded co-counsels over a 90-day period, to convey the many advantages of partnering with a law firm we support. Your role encompasses aiding them in navigating technology setup and imparting knowledge as they progress through crucial milestones in their journey with us. By effectively partnering with our co-counsels, you will generate higher-quality partnerships, ultimately delivering a remarkable legal experience to our clients.
Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000/year
Hybrid Schedule: In-Office Tuesday - Thursday
What you'll do:
- Ensure contractor retention targets are met or exceeded by conducting live orientations that offer a white-glove experience, while also scheduling and conducting meetings with co-counsels to ensure their practice progresses smoothly
- Strategically communicate the benefits through sales tactics to new co-counsels throughout their evaluation period, fostering engagement and buy-in
- Build and maintain positive relationships with co-counsels, while actively seeking avenues for business expansion and resolving questions and concerns
- Collaborate with attorneys, guiding them through our processes, software utilization, and commitment to excellent legal care
- Utilize data analysis techniques to evaluate attorney performance against predetermined benchmarks, facilitating the identification of readiness for transition to long-term Engagement Manager
- Foster cross-functional collaboration, ensuring seamless communication and incorporating valuable feedback to stakeholders
- Provide superior customer service, contribute to a positive work environment, and embody the culture
Who you are
- 2+ years of experience in account management, onboarding, and retention and/or 2+ years of customer service skills in a B2B environment
- Exhibit strong organizational skills, adeptly managing time and multitasking to achieve objectives efficiently
- Showcase advanced computer and technical competencies, enabling seamless navigation of software platforms
- Data-oriented and have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding key performance indicators on a daily and monthly basis
- Adaptable to change and comfortable with a fast-paced start-up environment
- Positive, energized, and patient
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor's degree preferred
