Account Manager/Outside Sales is responsible for building, establishing, and maintaining (wholesale) customer relationships to grow sales and overall profitability. This position is held accountable for effective and efficient utilization of time, equipment, materials, maintaining and increasing sales to existing customers in assigned territory, as well as identifying and establishing new accounts.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintain relationships with business owners, purchasing managers, outside sales, inside sales, shop personnel and key suppliers
  • Establish new accounts within a specific territory and service network
  • Attend relevant industry trade shows and events
  • Coordinate vendor training and support with customer base
  • Provide resolution to customer(s) issues
  • Maintain and upgrade selling skills and technical/product knowledge for all products, services, and processes

Successful Candidates Will Have:

  • 3+ years as outside sales or account management
  • Heavy duty parts knowledge/experience
  • Ability to travel 50% (large territory within the western region)
  • Excellent communication (oral & written)
  • Customer service oriented
  • Valid driver's license with good driving record
