Job Title: Territory Sales Manager - West Coast

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Territory Sales Manager to join our team and lead our expansion efforts on the West Coast. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and securing partnerships with hotels and resorts interested in outsourcing their overnight cleaning operations to Vertex. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive revenue growth and establish Vertex as the premier cleaning solution provider in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Research and Prospecting:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential target hotels and resorts in California, Arizona, Nevada, and neighboring states.
- Utilize various sources including online databases, industry publications, and networking events to generate leads and build a robust prospect pipeline.
2. Sales Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans tailored to specific territories and customer segments.
- Collaborate with the sales leadership team to define sales targets, objectives, and KPIs for the West Coast region.
3. Customer Engagement and Relationship Management:
- Initiate contact with key decision-makers at target hotels to present Vertex's overnight cleaning solutions and value proposition.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients through regular communication, follow-ups, and personalized service.
4. Proposal Development and Presentation:
- Prepare customized proposals and presentations outlining Vertex's services, benefits, and cost savings for prospective clients.
- Conduct engaging and persuasive sales presentations to showcase Vertex's expertise and competitive advantage.
5. Contract Negotiation and Closure:
- Lead negotiations with potential clients to secure favorable terms, pricing, and contracts.
- Work closely with the legal and operations teams to ensure seamless onboarding and implementation of new accounts.
6. Market Intelligence and Competitive Analysis:
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and threats in the market.
- Provide regular updates and insights to the sales leadership team to refine sales strategies and tactics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of hotel operations and housekeeping procedures.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
