Our Client, LUMINOR Environmental in Guelph, is looking for a Regional Sales Manager (US North West) to join their team!

We're looking for a dynamic and experienced Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to join our team and help us expand our market presence across key accounts in Wholesale and OEM channels.


Job Purpose:

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be a pivotal part of our sales team, responsible for growing new business, while nurturing and expanding relationships with key accounts crucial to our long-term growth. You will work with new and existing customers, aligning their needs with LUMINOR's strategic goals, and driving revenue growth through effective business strategies. Your role will involve strategic planning, project management, and providing top-notch customer support to exceed sales targets and enhance our market presence.


Key Responsibilities:


Develop and Prioritize Key Accounts:

  • Understand and align with the strategic direction of our customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to research and analyze market trends.
  • Create and manage strategic programs at the account level.

Manage and Support Accounts:

  • Lead project management, negotiations, and relationship-building initiatives.
  • Adapt and implement new strategies to stay ahead of market trends.
  • Provide expert advice on product options and support customer product needs.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction, identify up-selling opportunities, and conduct regular account reviews.
  • Communicate effectively with all departments to resolve customer issues and maintain client databases.
  • Initiate contact with and develop new key accounts in line with corporate strategy.
  • Analyze sales program effectiveness and recommend improvements.
  • Develop distribution strategies, reselling agreements, and other growth opportunities.
  • Attend trade shows and conduct product demonstrations.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of senior sales/key account management experience in the water industry.
  • Related post-secondary education or equivalent work experience.
  • Cross-channel experience is essential.
  • Experience in new account prospecting and closing new business opportunities.
  • Goal-oriented, tenacious, and capable of inspiring a shared vision.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing key account business plans, exceeding sales targets, and managing sales and marketing budgets.
  • Understand and apply technical skills and up-to-date knowledge of industry trends.
  • Strong drive for results, collaborative skills, and leadership abilities.
  • Uncompromising honesty, integrity, and ethics.
  • Excellent communication skills, business acumen, and C-level comfort.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software packages.
  • Eligibility for cross-border travel, with a valid passport and no criminal record.

Working Conditions:

  • Substantial travel required 40-50%.
  • Ability to conduct presentations and meetings
