Job Description:

Reporting to the Director, Product & Solutions, as the Account Manager you would be accountable for supporting and driving the growth and development of the Lumino Health Virtual Care portfolio. Your focus would be on growing our client base while retaining existing clients, strengthening our position in the market through value-add content and proof points, and bringing insights back into the organization to seed future ideas and opportunities to enhance our offerings.

Are you interested in working closely and having direct impact on a key Sun Life offering? You would do this in your work with the Lumino Health Virtual Care product team, Dialogue, the Group Benefits Business Development team, and the overall Market Development and Growth mandate.

What will you do?

  • Actively identify and maintain a pipeline of clients in partnership with Dialogue and Group Benefits Business Development

  • Proactively identify at-risk clients and execute strategies to strengthen relationships and retain clients

  • Establish and maintain strong internal and external relationships, maintaining close connectivity to Dialogue’s Customer Success team and Group Benefits Business Development team

  • Support key client / finalist presentations

  • Capture, consolidate and recommend prioritization for backlog items and product enhancements and roadmaps based on Client feedback

  • With a Continuous Improvement mindset, identify, recommend and execute upon improvements to products and client-facing content

  • In partnership with the LHVC Product Team and Dialogue, establish robust proof points / health outcomes to demonstrate value and strengthen our market position

  • Be informed of client escalations and resolutions

  • Support growth and financial forecasting and tracking based on pipeline activity, including win/loss data

  • Actively identify new opportunities to grow the LHVC portfolio, with a focus on “One Sun” opportunities

  • Support competitive insights and respective recommendations, in partnership with the LHVC Product team

What do you need to succeed?

  • Proven experience in Account Management / Sales – including winning and retaining business

  • Proven experience implementing tactics to attract, retain and grow business

  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and influence others

  • Proven experience leading and driving collaboration with diverse stakeholder groups

  • A passion for building Client relationships and supporting long-term Client satisfaction

  • Strategic thinker - ability to identify, prioritize and pursue opportunities that will enable new capabilities and innovation, coupled with the ability to think and execute tactically and “roll up their sleeves” to get the work done

  • Strong client focus and understanding of the health insurance and financial services market, consumer health technology, and an understanding of market trends and industry disruption

  • Exceptional organization, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels

  • Excellent presentation skills and personal presence with the ability to present to internal and external audiences

  • Ability to influence decision-makers and negotiate with internal and external partners to produce win-win outcomes

  • Comfortable operating with ambiguity

  • As this position is posted in several locations, we specify that bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is requiredfor Quebec only for the frequent interactions with English and French-speaking colleagues or internal partners across Canada or worldwide.

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance. Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
