Chain Sales Manager
We are a leading food service supplies manufacturer, seeking an experienced sales leader to join our team. The Chain Sales Manager (CSM) is designated as the primary driver for bringing new customers and grow our business with existing customers. We are looking for someone with proven prospecting and closing skills who is passionate about helping customers be successful.

SUMMARY
The Chain Sales Manager (CSM) is designated as the primary driver for bringing new customers to our company and grow the business of existing customers. Responsibilities are to grow and develop new business sales by securing new customer purchases. National Sales Manager must be driven to achieve sales goals set by management. Must develop a business partnership with each customer through a process that supports mutually profitable growth while promoting the concept of our company becoming the primary supplier in each account. Must be passionate to exceed goals by maintaining a positive attitude and being driven to be the best. This position requires a true competitor and someone with a proven track record laced with documented victories.
KEY PERFORMANCE MEASURES
- Overall performance versus goals and objectives
- Identify and convert top national distributors
- Identify and convert chain business
- Develop strong relationships with key and chain customers
- Exceed monthly objectives
- Relationship building is a key contributor to the success of the NSM. Being able to develop and take relationships to the next level is critical
- Ability to build and maintain long term relationships with Key Customers secured
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set appointments with prospective customers.
- Represent and sell the company’s products professionally and effectively.
- Must be able to prepare and deliver verbal sales presentations to both current and prospective customers.
- Must be self-motivated with the ability to excel with minimal supervision.
- Maintain an accurate call list of accounts with details for required action, order call day, contact information and opportunities.
- Set targets for new customer account acquisition and implement strategy to secure the business. Work with the president of the company to ensure Regional sales targets are met.
- Seek contacts with existing distributers/chains / key customers, to meet objectives in retention and further account development.

- Manage the company’s chain of sales brokers: set goals, track performance and seek for continuous improvement
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND Abilities
Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred, professional certification preferred but not required
- 5 plus years’ experience specific to the food service business channel with national and large regional account
- Must have a history of selling national accounts and large regional accounts
- Must have detailed knowledge of key customers, broadliners and regional distributors
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong business and collaborative relationships
- Proven ability to adapt and manage effectively in fast-paced, changing environment
- Ability to establish credibility across the organization and engage others to ensure business success
- Ability to lead and motivate team members
- Ability to plan, assess, and implement change
- Strong and creative negotiation skills with challenging customers
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent MS Excel Skills
- CRM software knowledge
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
