Responsibilities:
- Manage, market, and renew mid to large commercial accounts, with a combined book of business exceeding $5M in premium. Portfolio encompasses real estate, contractors, manufacturers, distributors, restaurants, and tech companies.
- Conduct market analysis to determine the best fit for the client, while considering coverage, protection, and cost. Quote with various insurance carrier platforms and prepare proposals according to producers' expectations.
- Handle binder processing, auto ID cards, renewal of EPIs and COIs, endorsements and audits, ensuring accurate documentation on each account in accordance with procedures.
- Establish and maintain a strong relationship with clients, providing day-to-day service, anticipating customer’s needs, and responding to clients' issues/questions in a timely manner.
- Attempt to round-out each customer’s insurance program, including the solicitation of additional commercial and personal lines insurance where applicable.
Requirements:
- Possess and maintain an active NJ P&C license
- Prior experience working in commercial insurance (preferably 5+ years)
- Strong administrative and computer skills, including MS Office suite
- Experience in Applied Epic preferred
- Attention to detail, time management, verbal and communication skills
