Position Summary

CP Kelco is a leading innovation solutions provider in Food, Industrial and oil & gas industries. CP Kelco specializes in delivering high-quality nature based products and services tailored to drilling and cementing applications while ensuring operational safety, efficiency, and quality in challenging environments.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and cultivate customer intimacy by building and maintaining relationships with identified key influencers and decision makers within the assigned Key Accounts.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans in all aspects of the drilling process. (drilling fluids, sweeps, spacers, fracking, cementing, etc. )
  • Develop individual business plans for assigned Key Accounts, prioritize technical projects, growth initiatives and create sustainable advantage by strengthening CP Kelco’s competitive position to deliver growth and create significant value.
  • Lead internal cross functional team of stakeholders and be the customer champion to ensure customer projects and demand are met with our Customer Experience Commitment
  • Identify and prioritize target accounts within the drilling & cementing segments, focusing on building long-term relationships and delivering value-added solutions.
  • Deliver financial targets on revenue, profitability, opportunities and growth for the assigned Key Accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal technical teams to understand product offerings, technical specifications, and customer requirements.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing technical expertise, product recommendations, and problem-solving support.
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical training sessions for customers and industry stakeholders.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, market dynamics, competitor activities, and regulatory changes impacting the upstream oil & gas sector in order to develop robust opportunity pipeline and develop new application solutions.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback, market intelligence, and industry insights to inform product development initiatives and go-to-market strategies.
  • Utilize industry knowledge and trends to build continuous new customer pipeline for CP Kelco products and solutions.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, quotations, and contracts in accordance with company guidelines and customer expectations.
  • Utilize CRM tools and sales analytics to track sales performance, monitor customer interactions, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Provide monthly updates on current and near-term forecast using available CP Kelco tools.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to expand brand awareness and cultivate business relationships.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all business dealings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering, or a related field preferred and 5+ years proven sales experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on drilling and cementing applications.
  • In-depth knowledge of drilling and cementing technologies, equipment, and processes used in oil & gas operations.
  • Strong understanding of customer needs, industry trends and competitive landscape in the oilfield services market.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders at various organizational levels.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in driving growth.
  • Proficiency in Sales Force software, Microsoft Office suite, and sales analytics tools.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites, industry events, and company facilities as needed.
  • Although this role is remote from our Atlanta office you must be based in the Houston metro area.
