Job Description:
The ideal candidate will
- Identify opportunities to sell Bond products and services
- Acquire leads and communicate Bond’s value proposition to the markets we serve
- Identify and develop new and existing markets, analyzing and understanding unmet and undermet needs that correlate to the capabilities of the organization.
- Communicate with prospective customers and ensure that they are fully aware of the benefits Bond can offer them.
- Possess a basic understanding of eCommerce and digital media
- Define and clarify customer requirements before and after an order is received
- Prepare quotations as required, deliver and negotiate orders.
- Support Engineering and Manufacturing as required once orders are received
- Contribute to continual improvement of the Sales process
- Collaborate with Application Engineers
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 4 years of experience in machine tool sales or application support, including a proven track record of customer interaction
EDUCATION : Bachelors Degree preferred, Engineering is desired (Associates Degrees or Bachelors degrees in other fields may be considered if the course work and experience supports the skill set listed below)
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Enthusiasm! Must be an empathic listener with a problem-solving mindset!
- Strong computer skills with the Microsoft Office suite of produ
- An understanding of capital equipment sales process
- 3 to 5 years of experience with machine tool or automation equipment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability and willingness to learn new processes and systems
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Experience with high-force equipment/heavy equipment
- Market research, market development, business development experience
- Understanding of financial aspects of capital equipment sales
- Some experience working with international clients
- Engineering design skills
