Join a dynamic team as a Senior Account Manager (SAM), where you’ll play a pivotal role in managing and expanding relationships with key accounts while driving sales and strategic growth initiatives. As a SAM, you’ll oversee operations, demand planning, and customer support for Fortune 500 clients. Key ResponsibilitiesAccount Management:
- Manage and grow relationships with key accounts, including major retailers.
- Serve as the primary contact for assigned accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Provide tailored solutions and strategic recommendations to clients.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement account-specific strategies for promotions, product launches, and campaigns.
- Collaborate with the Director of Sales to set and achieve revenue goals.
- Prepare sales forecasts and analyze performance to identify growth opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with teams across Trade, Marketing, Operations, Logistics, and Finance to execute account plans and address challenges.
- Work with Product Management to deliver tailored client solutions, including new product rollouts.
Operational Oversight:
- Track and manage projects, including special events, product displays, and promotional launches.
- Communicate product availability, shipping schedules, and delivery updates to clients.
- Maintain detailed records of account activities, budgets, and performance metrics.
Customer Engagement & Retention:
- Regularly engage with account representatives to understand needs and objectives.
- Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, or product customization.
- Resolve client inquiries promptly, ensuring high satisfaction levels.
Leadership & Growth:
- Mentor and support junior account managers to foster professional development.
- Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to strengthen market presence.
QualificationsRequired:
- Proven experience in account management, sales, or business development within retail or consumer goods.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to strategy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for building client relationships.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and SAP systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
