Overview:

As the Senior CyberSecurity Engineer, you will provide cybersecurity solutions and support for an on-premise and cloud-based Windows and Linux environment for a technical federal program in the BlueHalo INTEL Sector. We are looking for an individual with strategic focus that will keep our customers' mission central while supporting all cybersecurity requirements for the enterprise Windows environment and Linux architecture. The CyberSecurity Engineer will work in partnership with a small team of IT professionals to manage network design and security efforts, in addition to customer policy compliance and accreditation efforts.

You'd Like to Do This:

  • Safeguard information systems and manage network infrastructures adhering to cybersecurity best practices.
  • Develop robust, resilient network environments that safeguard organizational data against emerging threats.
  • Develop comprehensive security solutions for IT infrastructure, applications, system architectures, and systems of systems that are repeatable across all the organization's functional groups.
  • Apply knowledge of policy, procedures, and workforce structure to design, develop, and implement secure networking, computing, and enclave environments.
  • Work in concert with the other IT leads to transform and optimize cybersecurity strategies across the program.
  • Ensure safe, secure, and successful mission integration, sustainment, and product lifecycle support to include mission operations as needed.
  • Identify process dependencies, address bottlenecks, and recommend new approaches to deliver solutions that align with the organization and customer goals.

You're required to have this:

  • TS//SCI with polygraph.
  • Hands-on experience (7+ years) leading or supervising a security engineering team
  • 3+ years' experience in enterprise level sustainment and logistics and delivery security solutions at scale
  • A sound understanding of engineering and cybersecurity principles
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and restore morale to a team
  • Ability to process negative feedback and remain professional
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; Data driven, and results oriented
  • Exceptional strategic analysis, problem solving, issue resolution and decision-making skill
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills backed by a strong business and technical vision
  • Preferred Certifications: CCNA; Microsoft Professional; CISCO
