Job Title: Account Manager, Nanoparticle Characterization Sales
Overview:
This Account Manager role in our Commercial Characterization team is an exciting opportunity to support and grow relationships with our existing clients while assisting in developing new client leads. Reporting to the Head of Nanoparticle Characterization Sales, this role will work closely with the scientific and operations teams to help provide high-quality cryo-TEM Nanoparticle Characterization services to our clients. Key responsibilities include generating proposals, managing purchase orders, logging client interactions in our CRM, and providing day-to-day account support to maintain strong client engagement. This role is ideal for someone eager to build experience in account management and collaborate within a high-performing team.
Reports to: Head of Nanoparticle Characterization Sales
Location: San Diego, CA - hybrid
Responsibilities:
Drive Sales Growth: Acquire new accounts and expand existing ones to meet or exceed revenue targets.
Manage Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their success through collaboration with science and operations teams.
Identify and Develop Opportunities: Prospect, identify and pursue new sales opportunities. Enter and manage CRM data related to the sales process from prospecting to Closed Won/Successful outcomes.
Deliver Exceptional Service: Oversee the entire client experience, ensuring timely and high-quality service delivery in partnership with colleagues.
Prepare Sales Presentations: Create and deliver impactful presentations to showcase our solutions and capabilities.
Gather Customer Feedback: Report on customer satisfaction and service improvements to refine our offerings and operations. Share insights and ideas with the Head of Nanoparticle Characterization Sales to improve or add to current service offerings.
Represent the Company: Promote our services at tradeshows and other events, network with potential clients, and gather intel on market trends.
Job Requirements:
Educational Background: BS in Life Sciences or a related field.
Laboratory Experience: 2-3 years laboratory experience is preferred.
Sales Experience: Sales experience is not required, as we are willing to train the right candidate.
Revenue Growth: Ability to drive revenue growth and meet sales targets.
Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a clear, persuasive style and strategic selling abilities.

Customer Service: Strong focus on customer satisfaction and a proactive approach to client service.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
