JOB DESCRIPTIONSenior Sales Account Executive
POSITION SUMMARY
This is a sales role with an emphasis on lead generation and relationship building. The Senior Sales Account Executive will represent Port Jersey Logistics and interact with strategic clients to create new opportunities and increase sales results.
POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Ø Attend a minimum of two trade shows per month to meet potential customers and partners (4PLs, Referral Networks, etc.)
Ø Identify and approach new potential strategic customers beyond annual tradeshow events
Ø Suggest solutions and innovative ideas to meet client needs
Ø Develop strategy to support KPIs and drive revenue
Ø Work towards establishing strong, long-term client relationships
Ø Develop cadence of regular, proactive client meetings to establish strong connectivity with key stakeholders
Ø Update CRM to maintain a current, accurate client relationship database and remain accountable for timely and accurate reporting.
Ø Attend weekly Sales meetings and Corporate Sales L10 Meeting to share progress, update team, and track metrics.
Ø Research and review market trends, client-specific needs, and performance to ensure efficiency, organization and revenue growth is achieved

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the following education and/or experience.
Ø Bachelor’s degree preferred
Ø Strong working knowledge of relevant Microsoft applications
Ø Minimum 5 years of experience in 3PL/Warehouse environment - Food and Beverage experience a plus
Ø Successful and proven cold calling, networking, and lead generation experience
Ø Proven negotiation acumen
Ø Demonstrated ability to develop and implement comprehensive service/account outsourcing strategies.
Ø Ability for extensive travel

Ø Experience in solutions selling and dedication to problem-solving.
Ø Sound negotiation and decision-making skills.
