Job Description

Do you enjoy meeting new people in the community? Do you have a passion for helping people solve problems? Do you like to make money?! This is what our sales consultants do daily! Our consultants are responsible for providing top-tier customer service and proper estimates to our clients for their window treatment solutions. This includes showing products, taking measurements, and discussing options using proper terminology. Our exterior consultants have the additional responsibility to make sure products will be structurally sound when ordered.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled sales appointments and 1 in office day per week
  • Utilize digital and physical sales tools to provide a high end sales experience for our customers
  • Use power tools and ladders to check home for proper mounting and structure for heavy products - annotate any additional supplies needed by install
  • Use tactical sales techniques to close sales in home and after appointments
  • Provide valuable information to clients regarding products, services and the value we offer
  • Answer questions clients may have about estimates and products via email, in person, phone or text promptly
  • Schedule any follow up appointments in showroom or home as necessary
  • Collect signed documents and payments and return to proper departments in the office
  • Track sales in funnel and work to close open sales and track progress of closed ones for payout
  • See that your customers are receiving the best up to date service and assist with communication when needed
  • Recommend substitutions in cases of out of stock parts or significant delays of product
  • Complete and turn in monthly commission reports for review and payout
  • Continually train on product knowledge, sales techniques, industry trends
  • Use additional time during the day to canvas and generate leads for the company.
  • Attend after hours events to network generate connections and leads.
  • Perform and track monthly canvassing
  • Attend home shows and collect leads
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Sales Director

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.

At least one year of experience in sales

Construction background preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs at a time
  • Must be able to safely operate a motor vehicle at all times
  • Proper vision and hearing required or proper corrective devices must be used
  • Able to use mobile devices such as personal computers, tablets and mobile devices daily and efficiently
  • Able to communicate properly with team and clients

Pay Structure: sales consultants are paid with a base salary and a monthly commission payout. Base salary is raised each year of employment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
