Job Overview
The Estimator/Project Manager will play a vital role in managing projects from initial estimation through to completion. This position is ideal for a licensed, skilled electrician with strong technical expertise, project management experience, and a focus on delivering projects on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards. This role is open only to candidates who are local to the Nashville area and can commute daily.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Estimation: Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for projects, incorporating all aspects of electrical work, labor, materials, and equipment.
- Project Management: Oversee project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.
- Client and Account Management: Foster strong relationships with clients, providing seasoned advice and clear, consistent communication throughout the project.
- Team Coordination: Work closely with field and office teams to ensure effective collaboration, safety compliance, and high-quality workmanship.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor and verify work for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and industry standards.
- Risk and Safety Management: Identify, assess, and manage project risks; enforce safety protocols to protect all team members on site.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, drive innovation, and ensure that best practices are followed across all projects.
- Cost Control and Budget Management: Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure all project costs are aligned with estimated costs.

Requirements
- Licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician with extensive experience in electrical contracting (residential, commercial, and industrial), preferred but not required.
- 5+ years of experience in project estimation and management within the electrical contracting industry.
- Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC), relevant local codes, and industry best practices.
- Proven track record in cost estimation, budget management, and on-time project delivery.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Exceptional communication and client relationship management abilities.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software, as well as familiarity with electrical estimation software.
- Local to Nashville, TN, or within commuting distance.
