Description
We are currently seeking a motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Construction Sales Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales in the construction industry by providing technical expertise and product knowledge to potential clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about the construction industry and enjoys the challenge of building strong client relationships.

As a Construction Sales Engineer, you will play a critical role in identifying new business opportunities, developing sales strategies, and providing support to potential clients. You will be responsible for understanding client needs and providing solutions that align with their goals. In addition, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of construction projects.

To excel in this role, you must have a strong technical background in construction, HVAC, civil or structural engineering and possess excellent communication and presentation skills. You should be able to effectively communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Additionally, you should be self-motivated, goal-oriented, and have a track record of exceeding sales targets.

Responsibilities
  • Work with existing clients to develop and execute a sales strategy to meet and exceed revenue goals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
  • Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions that align with their goals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project implementation
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market developments
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • HVAC experience highly preferred
  • Strong technical background in construction, with knowledge of building materials, methods, and processes
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a desire to exceed sales targets
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed
This is a role supporting a busy book of existing business. No cold calling or prospecting is needed at this time. This is a base plus bonus role with on-target compensation $100K - $150K depending on experience.
