In business over 100 years, AMPCO METALin Sturtevant, WI is currently seeking an Inside Sales Coordinator.

Inside Sales Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Route Incoming Calls and E-Mails. Be the first point of contact for customers who call our main line and need assistance with products or services. Re-route e-mails from HubSpot and the general e-mail inbox.
  • Match Prior Day Shipments. Match prior day shipments paperwork and file accordingly.
  • Quote Preparations and Follow-up. Prepare and send quotes to customers based on their specifications and requirements. Assist Inside Sales Team by following-up with customers on open quotes.
  • New Customer Setup. Enter new customers in ERP software ensuring all information is complete and accurate.
  • New Order Processing. Obtain and pre-authorize credit cards for new orders.
  • Calling Active Customers. Call customers as part of our Get Customers Back initiative.
  • Coordinate Surveys. Coordinate the customer satisfaction surveys by ensuring they are sent out timely.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment supporting a sales team with its initiatives.
  • The desire to learn more than the current role and potentially move to an Inside Sales Representative role.
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent phone presence
  • A self-directed, can-do attitude
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), CRM and ERP software programs
