Job Description
The role of an Inside Sales Assistant is to offer relentless support to the sales team. They act as the communication bridge between sales and operations, ensuring that any order changes or discrepancies are resolved promptly. Their organizational skills are exceptional, and they consistently deliver top-notch customer service.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Respond to client order change requests and communicate immediate order change requests to the Warehouse, Inventory, Delivery, and Catalog department
- Edit client proposals for changing inventory counts, delivery windows, and inventory substitutions and promptly resend updated proposals to clients.
- Manage showroom appointments and work with the warehouse team to prepare the showroom with the client's desired inventory items.
- Greet clients and initiate conversations with the objective of marketing and upselling rental products. Respond to client questions
- General office duties: print/reprint pull tickets, update the delivery board, electronic filing, organize event folders, respond to client email inquiries, respond to phone calls.
- Client correspondence when the sales team is out of the office
- Post-event follow-up with clients
- Assist the sales team with confirming orders, processing deposits, and final payments before the event date.
- Provide support to the CEO and Sales Director with tasks as needed
SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
- Conflict management skills: You'll need to confidently balance the needs of the customer from a variety of pre and post order issues such as delivery questions, returns, damages, and order changes.
- Be Tech Savvy & Multitask: You’ll need to juggle navigating multiple browsers, tabs, tools, and screens in order to quickly and effectively answer questions regarding our inventory.
- Sales Skills: Ability to be persuasive to suggestively sell with clients
- Organization Skills: You will be working in a fast-paced environment with “doers” in a company that is rapidly moving forward. You'll need to manage your time effectively, prioritize tasks, set goals and develop systems for yourself to achieve those goals.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative sales role or similar
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of working with Google Office Suite

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
