Territory Manager (Full Time) - Lindsay, ON

Primary Purpose:
Reporting to the Sales Manager, The Territory Manager (TM) is responsible for all sales and maintenance of the Hospitality Industry for Northeastern Ontario including the GTA and Ottawa and based out of Lindsay, Ontario. The TM is responsible for increasing sales and profits in line with company goals and objectives.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Retains, maintains and grows our sales of all beverage carbonation products (micro bulk, generators cylinders and services) to the beverage industry within the assigned territory.
  • Promotes Microbulk CO2 systems into pH control applications, breweries and other new applications.
  • Maintains and develops Chain account relationships within the territory.
  • Develops new accounts by cold calling and building relationships within the industry using contacts, customers and trade associations.
  • Participates in all company sales, safety and growth initiatives and submits regular reports as required.
  • Part of a National network within Linde Canada dedicated to the Hospitality industry
  • Works with the Operations Team to follow all procedures and initiatives within the territory
  • Responsible for monitoring and minimizing accounts receivable and bad debt
  • Correctly sets up and maintains all customer account information for territory beverage accounts. This includes credit applications, site surveys, Supply Agreements, audits, contract pricing and other relevant daily activities.


Education:

  • High School Diploma/GED preferred
  • Undergrad Degree is preferred

Experience:

  • Excellent customer sales and service skills
  • Computer skills (JDE, Outlook, CRM, TEAMS, Microsoft Office)
  • Valid Drivers License with acceptable driver’s abstract

Other Considerations:

  • Prefer 5-7 years Outside Sales experience
  • Hospitality sales experience preferred
  • Brewery and beverage knowledge and experience as an asset
  • Overnight travel required on a bi-monthly basis
  • Industrial gas / safety sales experience is preferred
