Your role and responsibilities
Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, you will use your experience and drive to build enduring customer relationships through excellent service. • Become familiar with and understand ABB solutions and products in order to properly respond to customer requests. • Respond to customer requests for quotations (RFQ) for standard and non-standard products that meet technical specifications and customer expectations. • Utilize various configuration and sales tools to ensure proper follow-up of RFQs and customer requests. • Assist and support sales organizations and customers. • Understand the structure and dynamics of the distribution network for ABB products and master the different sales channels, depending on the markets and products. • Understand the needs of the different markets covered by ABB's products and be able to propose solutions that meet the needs of customers in each market. • Ability to manage product configuration and proposal software tools.
Qualifications for the role
- 2 years’ experience in sales, with a junior engineer profile.
- Bilingualism in French & English. French is required. English is also required to communicate with customers outside Quebec on a regular basis.
- University diploma in engineering.
- Ease and speed of adaptation, good sense of priorities.
- Good logical and methodical sense.
- Ability to use Office tools, Excel is an asset.
- Knowledge of measurement products an asset.
- Teamwork and critical thinking.
