Not Including Sales and Production based Incentives upwards of $25,000K

What We Do: We service most Cars, Light-Medium Duty Trucks & Diesel, accept most extended warranties and our services include everything from oil changes & scheduled maintenance to diagnostics and major repairs.

As a Service Writer, you are expected to maintain the highest quality service for customers with HIGH TONE & POSITIVE ATTITUDE ! Be the liaison between our automotive technicians and the customers, and really care about the customers you come across.
Responsibilities:
Taking phone calls
Making appointments
Contacting customers, follow-up calls, and scheduling future vehicle repair and maintenance
Delivering inspection reports to customers and relaying the importance of the work recommended
Prepare estimates for customers
Find, source, order, receive parts and organize them
Assist in assigning vehicle work to technicians
Record marketing data such as referral sources (on the internet), and send data to the Marketing Department
Collecting money for weekly deposits - assisting in receiving any and all payments and cash handling
Qualifications:
- Knowledge about parts for different makes and models of vehicles, foreign and domestic.
- Ability to order vehicle parts on your own without much assistance
- At least 3 years of service writing experience in automotive profession
- Must be detailed in writing and have good communication skills
- Sales skills
- Phone skills
- Computer skills including at least - Excel, Google Docs, Google spreadsheet, Point of Sale systems
- Ability to type on a computer fast enough to reach 45 words/minute
- License Requirements - Clean Driver's License
- Drug Free
- Proficient in English with speech, writing, listening
- Authorized to work in the US for a US employer
- Education Requirements: High School Graduate or Equivalent
Additionally:
Must follow policies and procedures of the company
Must keep and demand a clean work area
Experience working in independent auto repair shops is a plus
Experience being an automotive technician is a plus
