RETAIL MEDIA SALES MANAGER, NORTH AMERICA

Department: Global Loyalty and Digital

Location: Laval, QC (4204 boulevard Industriel, H7L 0E3)

Hybrid work: 3 days at the office and 2 days remotely

Type of employment: Permanent, Full Time (40 hours)

THE ROLE

The North American Retail Media Sales Manager is a part of The Global Digital and Loyalty team directly reporting into the Retail Media Network.

This pivotal role will focus on driving revenue growth through strategic media sales, leveraging our growing digital out of home instore solutions to engage key CPG clients and their agencies. Join us in capitalizing on Circle K's digital platforms to deliver exceptional value to both our advertising partners and our loyal customer base.

As part of our team, you will:

  • Take part in the evolution of a quickly growing, exciting arm of the Circle K business
  • Get a chance to influence and develop on the strategic digital transformation within the retail media space
  • Work on challenges across all our regions across the US and Canada.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As North American Retail Media Sales Manager you will be instrumental in expanding our digital sales footprint across the North American market. Your responsibilities will include:

  • DRIVING Sales Growth: Implement targeted strategies to boost sales among key CPG and agency partners, as well as potential non-endemic partners, leveraging Circle K's innovative media platforms.
  • STRATEGIC Client Engagement: Engage with existing and prospective clients to identify the most effective media platforms aligned with their marketing objectives.
  • DATA-Driven Insights: Analyze campaign data to extract actionable insights, driving recommendations for future business growth.
  • COMPETITIVE Presentations: Deliver compelling presentations to key decision-makers, showcasing the value of our offerings and securing new business opportunities.

DAY TO DAY:

  • Drive media sales and cultivate a robust pipeline of opportunities in the US and Canadian markets.
  • Negotiate effectively with clients to finalize planning and pricing details.
  • Analyze campaign performance metrics to derive actionable insights for business optimization.
  • Cultivate strategic marketing plans to attract and retain clients, leveraging our diverse platforms.
  • Proactively engage with new prospects through cold calling and email outreach.
  • Demonstrate strategic thinking and marketing acumen in sales approach.
  • Maintain accurate sales pipelines and revenue forecasts.
  • Serve as the main point of contact in all matters related to client concerns and needs.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field.
  • Minimum 4-5 years media sales experience preferably in retail media sales, trade channel marketing, agency sales or other related area.
  • Proven track record of selling to CPG clients, leading brand advertisers, and/or ad agencies.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and CRM tools.
  • Be able to adapt to rapidly changing environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines. Ideal candidate would be a self-starter and comfortable working cross functionally and as part of a team.
  • Maintain a positive team attitude and professional demeanor.
  • Is fluent in English, both oral and written
