The hiring range for this position is $25.00-$30.00 p/hour. This is the pay scale range Caltrol reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of this posting. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and may vary based on geographic region, skills, qualifications, and experience of the candidate along with the requirements of the position.

What you'll be doing:

  • Interact with customers to engineer and quote the best technical process control solutions.
  • Develop good working relationships with principles, suppliers, Account Managers, and Subject Matter Experts to effectively provide the customer with the best possible overall Caltrol experience and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Ensure proper preparation and submittal of customer documentation requirements.
  • Support internal customers (Order Management, Accounting, Shop and Inventory) to provide support in efficiently processing customer orders.
  • Troubleshoot products to provide technical support via phone; escalate to Management and/or the Factory as necessary.
  • Learn and become proficient in Caltrol and Emerson Product offerings.

What we are looking for:

  • College degree and/or demonstration of general mechanical sales competency.
  • High computer literacy.
  • Experience in business software systems.
  • Strong customer, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Team attitude and willingness to coordinate projects internally.
  • Willingness to work overtime as situation requires.
  • Ability to handle special assignments and schedule demanding workload to meet customer deadlines.

Physical Demands:

Must be willing to work occasional overtime as needed. Will sometimes work in an environment requiring PPE.
